Our Emergency Medicine Team

All physicians are board-certified in Emergency Medicine

Dr. Adetunji Adesanoye, MD

Serves: ER of Watauga

Dr. Adetunji Adesanoye is a board-certified family medicine physician with more than three decades of experience caring for patients across every stage of life.

He earned his medical degree from the University of Ibadan College of Medicine and has since built a clinical practice that bridges emergency, family, and primary care.

His areas of focus include acute injury management, infection care, and the rapid stabilization of patients presenting with serious conditions. Dr. Adesanoye sees patients at ER of Watauga.

Dr. David Brunett, MD

Serves: ER of Watauga

Dr. David Brunett spends every shift on cases that won’t wait: trauma, acute abdominal emergencies, and the kind of diagnostic puzzles that demand a workup within minutes.

He earned his medical degree from McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in Houston and completed his emergency medicine residency at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, where his training emphasized high-volume urban emergency departments.

Now board-certified with 15 years in practice, Dr. Brunett brings that grounding to every patient he sees at the ER of Watauga.

Dr. Trisha L. Dipprey, MD

Serves: ER of Watauga

Dr. Trisha Dipprey has built her career at the intersection of three demanding specialties: internal medicine, critical care, and emergency medicine. She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1995 and trained in internal medicine before adding critical care and emergency practice to her clinical portfolio.

That triple grounding shapes her approach to the most clinically complex patients in a freestanding ER, particularly those with post-surgical complications, multi-system illness, or rapidly evolving conditions that demand fast stabilization before transfer. Dr. Dipprey serves patients at ER of Watauga.

Dr. Mostafa Elsakka, MD

Serves: ER of Watauga

Dr. Mostafa Elsakka built his clinical foundation as Chief Resident at the North Central Texas Medical Foundation, a role that put him at the front of the program’s most complex cases. He earned his medical degree from the Ain Shams University Faculty of Medicine and is board-certified in family medicine, with practice that has since extended deep into emergency care.

His work in the ER concentrates on the fast evaluation of fever, dehydration, viral illness, and respiratory complaints in patients of every age. He treats patients at our Watauga emergency room around the clock.

Dr. David Allen Latham, MD

Serves: ER of Watauga

Dr. David Latham is a board-certified family medicine physician with extensive surgical and emergency medicine training, bringing more than 20 years of experience to patient care.

He earned his medical degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara Facultad de Medicina and completed his family medicine residency at Texas A&M University College of Medicine. He holds advanced certifications in ACLS, PALS, and ATLS, and his clinical strengths include trauma stabilization, pediatric emergencies, and the rapid evaluation of acute conditions.

Bilingual in English and Spanish, Dr. Latham treats patients at ER of Watauga and is widely praised for his thorough, compassionate approach.

Dr. Christopher Litchfield

Serves: ER of Watauga

Dr. Christopher Litchfield combines a decade of full-time emergency medicine practice with leadership in two adjacent fields: hospital medicine and digital health.

He completed his medical degree at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara and his family medicine residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and is board-certified in family medicine.

He founded a Texas telehealth practice and is an active member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, working at the intersection of urgent and longitudinal care. He treats patients at ER of Watauga.
